INTRO: THIS SH*T AGAIN?

These were our first tasks to get reintroduced with photoshop and all of its various, crazy tools. Well actually, the first image/poster was done with Canva and was an introduction to the elements of design. The other three were practise for using layer masks, something that was new and apparently very useful to me. Also the spot healing brush is a thing, who knew.

NOW WE'RE GETTING SOMEWHERE

At this point we actually started jumping in and creating thing. The first image was a lesson on how to colour match and use colour overlays. We were also told to replace the face of the astronaut... so I did whatever this is. The next tasks (and the next photos) were edits to remove elements. The nice beach photo used to have a photo bomber, and while they could have just cropped him out I understand the appeal of the beach, so he's gone now. There also used to be a man behind the bride, so you best believe I got rid of him.

MAYHAPS MY GREATEST CREATION TO DATE

This continues to be a controversial piece with mixed reviews from art critics. (that last bit was from Wix but I feel like it fits) This was kind of a culminating project for the unit, a sort of Now Put Your Skills To The Test! It was really fun to do and was quite topical at the time, everyone's over it now but whatever. The original one is there for comparison but I guess if you like it better then you can get off my site :)

Ah fake ads for fake products, my favourite. Much to the dismay and disbelieve of the people who (are wrong) believe water is not wet, my product is Waterproof Water. It waterproofs your water and basically just cancels it out, leaving you with nothing ;)
