This is most of the work I did last year for comm. tech, think of it as a portfolio of sorts. It's been kicked off the main page but it still holds a special place in my heart.

CREATE A MEMEâ„¢
The first assignment we were given was to create a series of memes. As an avid enjoyer and viewer of memes, the task of making one was surprisingly hard. It was a really fun and enjoyable task though.
EVEN MORE MEMES
Just another one of the memes I created. We used a meme generator website that had preset templates. It was easy to use but coming up with ideas that were actually funny was honestly pretty difficult.
PHOTOSHOP SELFIE
This was an early intro assignment for photoshop. We were given a picture of this woman and the task to put her anywhere. Please enjoy this masterpiece. I don't think I'd do anything differently, I'm super happy with the end result.
TOURISM TIME
For this assignment we had to photoshop a picture of ourselves into a tourist destination. I chose the Sistine Chapel and made myself into an angel, obviously. This one wasn't too hard but it was really fun to make.
EPIPHANY
A fake movie poster created for class. If I were to do this again I would make sure the edges were cleaner and crisper. This only happened because I had finished the poster once, and then deleted it, how fun! All in all, I am pretty happy with the end result and the way it looks.
CHEER
For our photorecolour assignment, we were told to take black and white photos and give them colour again. I really liked doing this, and ended up creating several recolours.
TIGER RECOLOUR
This is another recolour that I did for the assignment. I'm still very happy and proud of the final result.
CREATE A LOGO
With a partner we created this logo for our fake brand, Bee-Jay productions. My partner made the text and I made the character, who we had created together sometime over the summer. We used photoshop for both the text and the character and I used a drawing tablet for the first time!
BURGER KING
For the animation portion of our course, my partner and I decided that we wanted to be difficult and made an animation that was probably way too much for our first time animating. But I ended up really loving the result. This is a background I created for one of the scenes.
ANGUS
This is Angus, the main character of the short animation we created. He's a real sweet dude and it was fun creating something in such a simplified style.

ANGELA
Meet Angela, the rude girl Angus is supposed to meet for a date. I tried to make her look mean and like that typical mean girl. Her red dress contrasts with Angus' green sweater and shows the difference in both of their characters.
EXPRESS VIEW
For the audio portion of class we were assigned partners and told to make a podcast. My partner and I made Express View, a podcast about YouTube news. This is the thumbnail I made for it. The podcast was fun to make and writing the script was enjoyable but at times the project could be extremely frustrating. If I were to do it again I would do a podcast on something I enjoy more and do it with someone I'm comfortable with.
